Happy Friday, everyone!! We’re back for a quick post today sharing a few last-minute progress shots of the North Boulevard Show House before the final photos are posted. Also, be sure to check out this great write-up on the project in the Houston Chronicle!!

The White Oak floors on the first floor have been finished and are now uncovered. They keep with the light and airy feel, especially in these front two rooms that get fantastic natural light. The brass fixture looks stunning over the baby grand piano, which looks beautiful with the black framed windows and doors.

The dining room wallpaper is complete and looks even better with the dining table in place.

The kitchen is cleaned up and is starting to be styled out. You can also see from the angle in the second photo how the kitchen windows look out onto the covered driveway and the pool house.

The upstairs addition is getting lots of love from Laura U’s team! One area of the addition that we haven’t shown before is the loft, which is accessed by a winding staircase that has now been outfitted with sea grass floor covering. The views of the backyard from up there are amazing.

The final details of the girls’ bedrooms and bathroom are coming together beautifully! We love the custom pink upholstered headboard with the blush wall color.

And last, but certainly not least, we have to give it up to Moss Landscaping and the fantastic transformation they’ve done in the backyard. What a difference turf and plants have made in creating this oasis in the city. And no one would ever guess that pool was from 1950 after it’s been resurfaced.

Well, we don’t want to give it all away, but hopefully this has been enough to intrigue local Houstonians to come on out to the tour, which will not disappoint! The home, located at 1644 North Boulevard, will be open noon to 4pm on April 28-29thand May 5-6th. All proceeds will benefit Preservation House. For more details, be sure to visit
